There are many Executive Coaching programs
Top Level Executive Forum™ is different.
Is it right for you?
Is Top Level Executive Forum right for you?
If you’re a successful professional man who is at
the top of his game, but knows there is more, then
Top Level Executive Forum (TLEF) may be right for you.
In addition to being top level executives, our
participants are open minded, willing to take risks,
and do things a little differently.
What is TLEF?
TLEF for Men is the brainchild of master coach
Dorene Lehavi, PhD. TLEF is a high caliber peer
group experience involving people from other
industries, and with different backgrounds and
philosophies. You and your executive peers will
exchange ideas, and viewpoints, which can take you
in directions you may not have previously
considered.
TLEF includes individual coaching with Dorene who
will help you gain further clarity about your “Next
Level” in business and in life. In individual
coaching sessions, you’ll strategize on surmounting
your current and new challenges, and continually
reevaluate your direction
What is different about TLEF?
TLEF is not your typical corporate coaching program.
It takes place outside of corporate conference rooms
in a relaxed atmosphere, where you don’t have to
maintain the façade of the person with all of the
answers. It’s a safe place to discuss the doubts and
insecurities that sometimes plague even the most
successful men. In this haven, you can share your
challenges with peers who understand, support and
encourage you, and will keep your confidences.
If you would like the opportunity to have meaningful
conversations with other men who are your peers
under the guidance of a female master coach in a
“kicked back” way then consider TLEF. Our meetings
take place in a living room suite at a 5-star hotel,
in the living room or garden of this coach's home
and any room in the world you choose to call in from
for the bi-monthly group phone meetings with your
peers.
Why be in a program?
Your position at the top can often be isolating, and
those who say “no” to you, few and far between.
Being alone at the top does not provide the
opportunity for growth unless you seek it out, with
the help of trusted advisors who force you to grow.
That’s what you’ll find at TLEF.
How can people outside of my
industry be helpful?
Those outside your industry see things from a
different vantage point, and ask the questions which
can stimulate new ideas.
All CEO’s and senior executives deal with similar
issues regarding personnel, flexibility, new vision,
dealing with boards of directors, transitions, life
balance, development their managers, time
management, team building and all the other familiar
challenges that confront every industry.
Your TLEF coach, Dorene, asks deep and probing
questions, which result in “ah hah” moments that
open new vistas. In TLEF, you will have both Dorene
and a group of peers to serve as your sounding
board.
Why a year commitment?
The promise of TLEF is more than an exchange of
ideas. It is an opportunity to create lifelong
friendships with people who, like you, face similar
challenges in business and life. In the course of
the year, you will make strategic decisions and be
held accountable for action by men whom you respect
and who respect you. These promises are fulfilled
over time and require periodic reevaluation. These
goals cannot be realized in just a few months.
Why should I reveal myself to
strangers?
One of the main promises and features of the group
is confidentiality. Everyone wants to know that what
happens “in Vegas stays in Vegas”. This is
definitely not Vegas, but the principle of mutual
respect and no gossip is basic to this commitment.
Your revelations are meant not only for your
benefit, but for everyone’s.
Why only men?
A mixed gender group brings in different dynamics.
The purpose of this group is for men to learn how to turn to each other as
sounding boards, for support, advice and trusted
friendship.

Who is Dr. Dorene Lehavi AND
What does she know about my business?
Dorene Lehavi transitioned to coaching about 9 years
ago after years as a psychotherapist. She has spent
almost 3 decades helping her clients reach their
Next Level. Her master’s degree is from Hunter
College, NYC and PhD from the University of Southern
California.
Her clients:
Dorene focuses on the successes and strengths of her
clients, who come from many fields including
business, law, entertainment, finance, health,
public relations, design and others.
Dorene’s background as a psychotherapist is
particularly beneficial. Although she clearly
defines the difference between coaching and therapy
and no longer engages in therapy, her experience and
skills serve her coaching clients well. For example,
she knows how to help people go deep within
themselves to bring up key information. Her ability
to teach communication skills is invaluable.
Good coaching is deeper than accountability. It is
expanding vision and options not previously
considered. Because of her knowledge of human
conditions Dorene knows when to put more pressure
and when to back off.
Understanding the innermost obstacles standing in a
person’s way Dorene is able to help her clients get
out of their own way. She believes wholeheartedly
that we create our own lives and in order to get the
one we want we must know ourselves at a deep and
detailed manner.
Her clients frequently say WOW! I didn’t think of
that, I didn’t realize that, I didn’t know I felt
that way or that I could do that! Her clients get to
like themselves much more than they did and discover
that they are much more than they thought they were.
SUBSPECIALTIES:
Business Partnerships:
Dorene specializes in coaching business partners to
help them defy the odds of breakup, by giving them
the tools they need to ensure that the relationship
between them remains solid. Statistics show that the
majority of partner breakups have to do with the
breakdown of communication between them. Her
particular knowledge of communication in
relationships keeps her partnership clients on track
with each other. She knows how to focus the
strengths of each (beyond technical knowledge) to
maximize their partnership relationship.
Groups:
Dorene has run groups focused on career satisfaction
for lawyers at the Los Angeles County Bar
Association and other venues. She also has done
teleseminars for participants from a variety of
industries. Although TLEF will be the first group of
only ÇEO’s and top execs, she has coached them as
individuals and knows how to facilitate group
dynamics. Her vast experience as a therapist gives
her special and different and tools than the ones
used by corporate programs. This difference is of
great value to her clients.
Career Transition:
Dorene has helped a multitude of people from a
variety of industries become clear about the career
they dream of and take the steps to get there…or to
strategize on how to make their present position
into one they can enjoy and love. She authored a
workbook entitled Stop Doing What You Hate Start
Doing What You Love which is used for this type of
coaching with extreme success.
Expert opinion:
As an example of how her knowledge and coaching
acumen serves a variety of industries, Dr. Lehavi
has been sought out for interviews by a number of
journalists writing on various topics.
